Senior Architectural CAD Operator

About the role

A multidisciplinary Australian architectural practice is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Architectural CAD Operator to lead the production of accurate, coordinated architectural documentation packages across residential, multi-residential and commercial projects. This is a technically focused, execution-driven role requiring advanced Revit proficiency and a strong track record of end-to-end documentation. It is a full-time independent contractor position with AU hours, paid at PHP 85,000 to 95,000.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings and documentation packages in Revit from concept design through to construction.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, door/window schedules and construction details.
• Maintain fully coordinated Revit models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with structural, civil and building services consultants and other stakeholders.
• Review drawings for accuracy, consistency and compliance, escalating conflicts early.
• Generate 3D models and visualizations in Lumion.
• Assist with planning permits, building approvals and authority submissions.
• Manage workflows across multiple concurrent projects autonomously and report progress to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 7+ years of architectural drafting and technical documentation experience.
• Advanced Revit skills with a portfolio showing end-to-end documentation delivery.
• Strong technical drafting and construction detailing knowledge across residential, multi-residential and commercial typologies.
• Knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards and planning/approval processes.
• Excellent written and verbal English, autonomy and strong time management.
• Prefers direct experience in an Australian practice, coordination with MEP engineers and familiarity with Victorian planning requirements.
