Senior Accountant (Remote, Part-time)

About the role

Karma and Luck is seeking a part‑time, remote Senior Accountant to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations and financial reporting for its growing retail and e‑commerce business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger, prepare and review journal entries, and reconcile accounts.
• Execute timely month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare financial statements, conduct variance analysis, and monitor cash flow.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations, and internal control policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and recommend improvements to financial policies.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to provide clear financial insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong general accounting background with experience in senior or lead roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, e‑commerce or consumer products is a plus.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities remotely.
