Senior Account Manager / Account Director

About the role

The Account Director is a senior leader in Bud’s Manila team, reporting directly to the GM and CEO. The role focuses on expanding Bud’s crisis and issues‑management practice in the Philippines while overseeing account operations and a team of communications professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and embed crisis and issues‑management frameworks, processes and counsel across client accounts.
• Provide senior client counsel, especially in high‑stakes and regulated environments, and drive strategic communications recommendations grounded in audience insights.
• Lead, coach and inspire a team of communications practitioners to deliver high‑impact work.
• Implement effective production, client‑management and resource‑planning processes to ensure quality and profitability.
• Grow assigned client revenue year over year while maintaining healthy profit margins.
• Represent Bud at external events and networking opportunities to strengthen the agency’s reputation and talent pipeline.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C clients in complex, high‑stakes communications environments.
• Demonstrated crisis‑management expertise with a track record of senior client counsel.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a focus on team development and culture.
• Evidence‑based approach to strategic communications, using audience behaviour and market data.
• Experience in regulated industries is a plus.
