Section Manager – General Affairs

About the role

The Section Manager – General Affairs oversees all administrative and support functions that keep store operations running smoothly. This includes managing facilities, utilities, supplies, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure efficiency, compliance, and a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise general affairs operations such as office supplies, utilities, and store facilities.
• Procure and replenish consumables and administrative materials in a timely manner.
• Manage contracts and service agreements with vendors and suppliers.
• Oversee maintenance of store premises, equipment, and utilities, coordinating repairs, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental standards, company policies, and government regulations; maintain records of contracts, permits, and licenses.
• Support audits and inspections related to general affairs.
• Lead, train, and schedule general affairs staff, monitor performance and provide coaching.
• Act as liaison between store management and external service providers, and coordinate with other store sections to support operational needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in general affairs, administration or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, facilities maintenance and compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational, communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Customer‑service orientation with problem‑solving skills.
