Search and Social Media Manager

About the role

The Search and Social Media Manager will shape IKEA's online presence across the region, driving traffic to both web and store channels. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, and e‑commerce teams, you will develop and execute strategies that increase brand awareness and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a market‑specific search and social media strategy aligned with business goals.
• Create and manage the social content calendar, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies.
• Optimize SEO performance for the country’s website and monitor search trends.
• Ensure optimal reach, engagement and frequency across social platforms, including influencer outreach.
• Monitor social conversations, respond to queries, and manage crisis communications in partnership with the CCC team.
• Measure, report and analyse the results of all search and social activities, providing actionable recommendations.
• Maintain brand consistency with IKEA’s values and visual identity.
• Contribute to budget planning, monthly reconciliation and re‑forecasting.
• Secure and manage tools for media tracking, content publishing, Photoshop and InDesign.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management and SEO.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into insights.
• Excellent collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to handle fast‑paced environments and crisis situations.
