SAP MM Senior Consultant (Japanese Speaker)

About the role

EY is seeking an experienced SAP MM Senior Consultant who is fluent in Japanese (minimum N3) to join its consulting team. The role involves leading SAP Material Management implementations, supporting upgrades, and integrating with related modules and external applications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute SAP MM implementation, development, and support activities, leading a project team.
• Configure SAP MM end‑to‑end, including procurement, inventory, pricing, batch management, and sub‑contracting processes.
• Integrate SAP MM with WM, QM, PP, SD modules and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Prepare and deliver blueprint presentations, process flow diagrams, and design documentation for client workshops.
• Handle client communications independently, providing functional specifications and solution designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in Engineering.
• 6‑9 years of relevant SAP MM experience, including at least two full‑cycle implementation projects.
• Proficiency in Japanese (minimum N3 level).
• Experience with support, rollout, or upgrade projects and data migration using LSMW/BDC.

Required skills

• SAP MM configuration and functional expertise.
• Knowledge of consumables, imports, source determination, STO, automatic PO procedures, pricing, batch management, sub‑contracting, serialization, consignment, pipeline, invoice planning, and EDI.
• Integration experience with WM, QM, PP, SD modules.
• Data migration tools: LSMW, BDC.
• Basic ABAP debugging skills.
• Familiarity with taxation component Vertex (advantage).
• SAP MM certification (advantage).
