SAP ABAP Technical Developer – Senior (RAP/VCP)

About the role

KPMG Delivery Network is seeking a Senior ABAP Developer to drive global SAP transformations. You will design, develop, and optimise modern ABAP solutions that connect core SAP functions with innovative business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Implement solutions using ABAP on HANA, including CDS Views, AMDP, and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Build and maintain secure integrations via OData Services, IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs.
• Perform performance analysis and code optimisation for high‑volume HANA environments.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure compliance with KPMG standards and security protocols.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into detailed Technical Specification Documents.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on SAP ABAP development experience.
• At least two full‑cycle S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong object‑oriented ABAP (OOPS) expertise.
• Experience with Adobe Forms, Enhancement Framework (BAdIs, User Exits) and BTEs.
• Proficiency with ADT (ABAP Development Tools in Eclipse).
