Senior Frontend Developer (React & TypeScript)

About the role

VA Platinum is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to create high‑performance, responsive web applications used across multiple countries. You will work with React and TypeScript to turn UI/UX designs into seamless user experiences while collaborating with designers, back‑end engineers, and product managers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user‑friendly web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Implement UI/UX designs with precision, ensuring cross‑browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Integrate front‑end components with back‑end services via RESTful APIs.
• Manage and optimise asset storage and delivery using Amazon S3.
• Maintain version control with GitHub, producing clean, well‑documented commits.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning of front‑end code.
• Stay current with emerging front‑end technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including teamwork and product ownership exposure.
• Expert‑level proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and GitHub.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON data handling, and cloud storage services (Amazon S3).
• Ability to work from a conducive home workspace.
