Sales and Business Development Executive

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales and Business Development Executive to drive new account acquisition and convert leads into revenue for Citadel’s logistics services. The role works closely with operations and finance to ensure compliance, protect customers, and maintain financial safeguards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new accounts, turning sales leads into confirmed bookings.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to follow processing rules and financial protection measures.
• Build and maintain a network of local and international partners, including shipping lines and NVOCCs.
• Plan, prepare and execute sales proposals and bookings in line with company policy and management guidance.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships through regular visits, calls and communications.
• Promote Citadel’s logistics solutions—ocean freight, forwarding, hub and clearance—matching offers to customer needs.
• Ensure all quotations follow standard operating procedures and receive required management approval.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within logistics, freight forwarding or related transportation sectors.
• Strong ability to build long‑term relationships with partners and customers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on compliance and procedural adherence.
