Safety Specialist – Pharmacovigilance

About the role

We are looking for a Safety Specialist in Pharmacovigilance to manage the initial processing of safety case data. The role involves handling source documents, entering key information into specialised systems, and ensuring accurate transfer to our safety database.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare source documents and input key data elements into the Enterprise Imaging Application to trigger transfer to the Safety System.
• Perform initial case data entry (Book‑In) in the BioConnect System, including adding supplementary information and documents as they become available.
• Access cases in Argus, code, enter, and review data to maintain high data quality.
• Support the end‑to‑end safety case workflow from receipt to system entry.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse, Registered Pharmacist, or Life Sciences graduate.
• Minimum three years of experience in a healthcare environment.
• At least two years of experience in pharmacovigilance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Enterprise Imaging Application.
• Experience using BioConnect System.
• Familiarity with Argus safety database.
• Strong computer and database skills.
