About the role
The RTR Specialist – Tax supports Record-to-Report processes with a focus on local statutory, legal, regulatory, and tax compliance requirements, ensuring timely and accurate execution of RTR activities.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review, file, and pay tax obligations in compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Serve as subject matter expert for RTR processes, particularly local statutory, legal, and tax compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on tax compliance matters, audits, and information requests.
- Act as authorized company representative for government agency transactions, including BIR, SEC, LGUs, and other regulatory bodies.
- Support internal, external, statutory, and tax audits by preparing schedules, supporting documents, and audit requirements.
- Execute tax‑related RTR activities in line with the Global Operating Model and local SOPs, including journal entries, account reconciliations, month‑end/year‑end closing, and P&L adjustments.
- Monitor closing activities and balance‑sheet reconciliations to ensure timely resolution of tax‑related issues and accurate reporting.
- Support monitoring and review of service providers and outsourced RTR activities.
