RPO Onboarding Specialist

About the role

The RPO Onboarding Specialist ensures a smooth, efficient onboarding experience for new hires operating within a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) model. You will coordinate pre‑employment requirements, act as the main point of contact for candidates, and guarantee compliance with internal and client onboarding standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end onboarding process from offer acceptance to Day 1 readiness.
• Coordinate background checks, pre‑employment documentation, and onboarding paperwork.
• Serve as the primary liaison for candidates during the onboarding stage.
• Partner with recruiters, HR, hiring managers, and external vendors to deliver a seamless experience.
• Maintain accurate onboarding records in HR systems and track progress.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and resolve candidate inquiries promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in recruitment coordination, onboarding, or HR operations (RPO experience preferred).
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with HR systems.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Knowledge of onboarding tools and platforms.
