Roads Drafter – Civil Infrastructure CAD Specialist

About the role

Aurecon is looking for a Roads Drafter to join its Transport – Roads team. You will translate engineering concepts into accurate 2D CAD drawings that support the design and construction of road and civil infrastructure projects across international locations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare precise 2D CAD drawings from engineer mark‑ups, reference designs and established standards.
• Revise and update drawings in response to comments, design changes and document control requirements.
• Ensure all drawings meet company, client and international drafting standards, including proper layering, naming conventions and file management.
• Coordinate remotely with on‑shore engineers, senior drafters and project leads to meet deliverables and deadlines.
• Support the delivery of simple to moderately complex drawing packages as part of a distributed offshore project team.

Required profile

• 2–8 years of experience in a CAD drafting role, preferably within civil, infrastructure or transport projects.
• Relevant technical qualification such as TESDA Technical Drafting NC II, Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent (nice to have).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD with proven 2D drafting capability.
• Experience working from mark‑ups and redlines.
