Road Worker / Maintenance Driver

About the role

Egis is seeking a Road Worker who will also operate the maintenance truck to support the upkeep of the MCX road network. The role involves routine inspections, repairs, and traffic management to ensure safe and efficient road operations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the maintenance truck and conduct regular walk‑through inspections of the entire MCX road network.
• Report any defects observed on roads or MCX facilities and follow the maintenance plan.
• Maintain road surfaces, access ramps, parking areas, signage, guardrails, and related infrastructure.
• Install traffic signage and manage traffic during road works or events.
• Clear accident sites, remove debris, and address spillages.
• Repair potholes, damaged surfaces, slopes, earthworks, and replace traffic equipment.
• Perform building maintenance at toll plazas, including painting, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, steel work, roofing, and electromechanical tasks.
• Carry out cleaning, tree pruning, grass cutting, and landscaping duties.
• Assist other technicians (electrical, civil, IT) and join the Quick Response Team during emergencies.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate.
• 1‑3 years of experience in road or related maintenance work.
• Willingness to work shifting schedules, including holidays.
• Readiness to be assigned to the MCX (Muntinlupa‑Cavite Expressway) location.
