Risk Management Specialist

About the role

Cebu Pacific is looking for a Risk Management Specialist within its Corporate Strategy Department. The role supports the development and implementation of an enterprise risk management (ERM) framework aligned with the airline's objectives and risk tolerance. It is an individual contributor position based in Pasay City, Metro Manila, following a hybrid workplace arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of an ERM framework aligned with the organization's objectives and risk tolerance.
• Collaborate with business units and the Internal Audit team to identify emerging risks, assess their impact and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and track the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures.
• Maintain and update risk registers so that risks are documented, tracked and reviewed regularly.
• Report to the Group Manager, Enterprise Risk Management, with regular updates on key risks and mitigation progress.
• Conduct risk assessments and help develop strategies to reduce risk exposure across operations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management into daily business activities.
• Support risk awareness programs and training sessions for employees.
• Participate in business process improvement projects focused on optimization and risk reduction.
• Help prepare reports, presentations and dashboards for stakeholders, and support risk reports for senior leadership and regulators.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations and best practices in risk management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, legal management, technology or a related field.
• Demonstrated analytical, planning, organization and facilitation skills.
• Knowledge and experience managing strategic, operational, compliance, technology or environmental risks.
• Knowledge of internal controls is an advantage.
• Valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines.
• 3 to 5 years of experience.
