Retail Operations Manager

About the role

The Retail Operations Manager will lead the sales and profitability of Läderach stores in the assigned area. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be the brand ambassador, ensuring that every store meets the high standards of both Läderach and Valiram.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and maximise sales and profit contribution of all stores.
• Develop annual business plans, negotiate delivery aspects with store teams, and monitor performance against targets.
• Define and enforce operating standards, policies and procedures, ensuring legal and company compliance.
• Analyse ad‑hoc retail issues, make rapid decisions to support sales performance.
• Oversee inventory management, conduct periodic stock counts, and ensure accurate forecasting.
• Monitor profitability through full‑price and markdown sales, margins and terminal stock.
• Coordinate store design, construction, maintenance and opening projects.
• Liaise with brand principals and internal departments to maintain strong relationships.
• Evaluate market conditions and competitor data to drive strategic changes.
• Address customer complaints, conduct on‑site performance meetings and regularly tour sales floors.
