Reservations Sales Specialist

About the role

The Reservations Sales Specialist provides expert travel advice and reservation solutions while representing the IHG brand. This position is a key customer touch‑point, delivering a warm, personalized experience that drives revenue, loyalty, and brand advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver industry‑leading reservation solutions in English and additional languages as required.
• Champion IHG brand values by educating guests about products and services.
• Consistently meet or exceed performance targets such as revenue, conversion, and guest satisfaction.
• Build rapport through active listening, conversational pacing, and personalized service.
• Navigate multiple web‑based systems and manage various work streams to enhance the guest experience.
• Manage time effectively, adhering to schedules, attendance, and break policies.
• Participate in company initiatives, training, and continuous personal development.

Required profile

• Secondary school education; high school diploma preferred but not required.
• Previous call‑center experience in a sales capacity, preferably non‑scripted.
• Hotel or travel industry experience is a plus.
• Strong bilingual communication skills (listening, written, verbal).
• Self‑motivated with a positive, “want‑to” attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
