Research Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive awareness, consideration, preference and first‑purchase activity for our research services. You will work closely with client teams to craft compelling proposals, manage inbound and outbound enquiries, and support the growth agenda across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound enquiries by collaborating with client teams to produce credible, commercially compelling proposals and ensure smooth onboarding.
• Identify target prospects, define prospecting territories and execute outbound actions such as sharing materials, event invitations and conference participation.
• Maintain HubSpot CRM hygiene, qualify leads, schedule meetings for the BD Director and manage targeted contact lists.
• Support the BD Director in creating sector‑specific points of view, case studies, credential decks and proposal visuals.
• Provide high‑level administrative and strategic support to the BD Director, including material preparation and insight sharing.

Required profile

• Ambitious, growth‑oriented business developer with 2+ years of market‑research agency experience.
• Highly proactive, energetic and professional with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communicator, confident in client outreach and internal collaboration.
• Fluent in English and comfortable working remotely across APAC time zones.
• Detail‑oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating presentations and visual decks.
• Strong Excel skills for data organization and analysis.
