About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Reporter to join our newsroom and collaborate with beat reporters and correspondents on major breaking stories and special assignments. The role offers the chance to develop expertise across a range of beats such as economics, politics, environment, science and foreign affairs, while delivering news across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with beat reporters and correspondents to cover high‑impact breaking news and special assignments.
• Develop specialization in fields like economics, politics, environment, science and foreign affairs.
• Break news on digital, broadcast and other media platforms.
• Write and broadcast stories for a variety of outlets.

Required profile

• College graduate in Journalism, Mass Communication, Economics or a related Social Sciences/Liberal Arts discipline.
• 2‑3 years of experience as a reporter in print or any multimedia platform.
• Strong communication, writing, interviewing, interpersonal and research abilities.
• Higher depth of news sense than a junior reporter, with proven exposure to multimedia platforms.
• Basic understanding of media laws, ethics, accuracy and libel issues.
• Fundamentals of journalism and awareness of social‑media rights and responsibilities.
