Remote Logistics Manager

About the role

Jiga is looking for a Logistics Manager to own the end‑to‑end movement of every part the company touches, from a CNC shop in Shenzhen to a robotics lab in Boston. This fully remote role blends operational expertise with commercial acumen, ensuring each shipping decision supports both delivery performance and margin.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate rates and contracts with freight forwarders and carriers worldwide.
• Select optimal transport modes based on time, complexity, and customer constraints.
• Oversee trade‑compliance activities and guide logistics administration.
• Price freight for customers, balancing deal attractiveness with profitability.
• Collaborate with sales on commercial calls and with suppliers on execution.
• Own the full shipment lifecycle: quoting, booking, customs clearance, delivery, and reconciliation.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing international logistics for manufacturing or hardware products.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to evaluate shipping decisions as business decisions.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate across sales, operations, and suppliers.
