Remote Financial Controller – Lead Accounting Team

About the role

ScaleNorth is seeking a Remote Financial Controller to lead an accounting and finance team for a diverse portfolio of NetSuite clients. This client‑facing position blends leadership, process improvement, and technology adoption to deliver high‑quality financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations for multiple clients across various industries.
• Onboard new clients, review balance sheets, and prepare financial statements.
• Develop and review financial models, cash‑flow forecasts, and five‑year valuation projections.
• Collaborate with clients on board presentations and strategic financial analysis.
• Drive process automation and continuous improvement using NetSuite and other cloud‑based tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading accounting teams in a fast‑growing environment.
• Strong client‑service orientation with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to varied client needs.
