Remote Controller for High‑Growth Startups

About the role

B Consulting is seeking a remote Controller based in the Philippines to support multiple high‑growth startups and early‑stage businesses. You will work directly with founders and their finance teams, acting as a trusted advisor while managing a diverse set of accounting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle accounting close and produce timely monthly financial statements.
• Analyze financial reports and communicate insights to founders.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors and tax preparers.
• Oversee bookkeeping, reconciliations, accrual journal entries, AR, AP, payroll, purchase orders, inventory and warehouse management.
• Build financial models, budgets, cash forecasts and three‑statement financial models.
• Implement and maintain various accounting software solutions and ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Manage US tax processes, including federal, state, franchise, and sales/use tax filings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in accounting/finance for tech, CPG, or US‑based startups.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and tax compliance.
• Excellent communication, time‑management and detail‑orientation.
