Remote Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Controller is a core member of Moneybacker’s leadership team, responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial reporting functions while working fully remote. This position ensures accurate financial information, regulatory compliance, and provides strategic insights to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of tax and accounts‑receivable specialists.
• Create training materials, conduct weekly 1‑on‑1 sessions, and address skill gaps.
• Oversee reconciliation processes for bank, intercompany, and general‑ledger accounts.
• Manage service‑fee processing, allocation, and reporting.
• Monitor daily AR aging, collections, and cash‑flow health.
• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual close reports and maintain QuickBooks Online reports.
• Prepare and present financial performance reports to executive leadership.
• Handle daily cash‑flow management, forecasting, and working‑capital optimization.

Required profile

• Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Background in accounting or business studies.
