Remote Accountant (Full‑time)

About the role

S&T Properties is seeking a full‑time Remote Accountant to join its small, dedicated team. The role combines extensive Excel‑based data work with core accounting duties to support the company’s vacation‑rental operations across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledgers, financial statements and historical records.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice entry and payment.
• Run payroll and ensure accurate tax remittances.
• Reconcile AR/AP accounts and prepare statistical and financial reports.
• Configure, manipulate and organize large datasets in Microsoft Excel to aid software development initiatives.
• Integrate accounting data with internal financial systems and external tools.
• Handle government reporting, client chargebacks and other ad‑hoc accounting tasks.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or Master’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• CPA designation.
• Experience with QuickBooks (online or desktop) and familiarity with Zoho, DEXT, Wise.com, Plooto.
• Previous experience at a Big 4 firm is preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
