Remote Accountant – Full Cycle Accounting (NetSuite/QuickBooks)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our remote team. You will own the full‑cycle accounting process, ensure the integrity of financial records, and support timely month‑end close activities using modern ERP platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle including AP, AR, general ledger, and month‑end close.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in NetSuite and/or QuickBooks.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve variances promptly.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain vendor relationships, process payments, and report cash flow.
• Support annual audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Configure ERP settings, maintain chart of accounts, and improve workflow.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of corporate, advisory, or public‑accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and month‑end close.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Hands‑on proficiency with NetSuite and/or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic financial modeling).
• Experience with AP automation tools such as Bill.com, Tipalti, or Concur.
