Reliability Engineer

About the role

The Reliability Engineer monitors equipment condition through periodic tests such as oil analysis, thermography, alignment measures, and ultrasound. The role maintains a results database and contributes to risk management planning.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate preventive and predictive maintenance tasks identified via the PDCA cycle of the equipment maintenance checklist.
• Implement and report on predictive and non‑destructive testing methodologies to isolate reliability problems, issuing work orders monthly.
• Maintain and analyse a database of predictive maintenance test results.
• Ensure condition‑monitoring outcomes are reflected in the Engineering Risk Register.
• Collaborate with the Process Engineer to drive process improvements through accurate technical data analysis.
• Benchmark ATI’s processes and performance metrics against industry best practices.
• Provide monthly reports on planned‑maintenance benefits and challenges.

Required profile

• Graduate of any engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Reliability Engineer handling condition‑based monitoring (CBM) programs.
• Knowledge of root‑cause analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) and other reliability tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
