Relationship Manager – Business Banking

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Business Banking is responsible for generating new commercial loans, expanding the existing loan portfolio, and cross‑selling the bank’s products and services. The role focuses on delivering professional account management to achieve portfolio growth, profitability, and asset‑quality objectives while building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct credit evaluations, including client calls and on‑site inspections.
• Recommend credit facilities based on business analysis, financial capacity, management competence, collateral, and profitability.
• Identify and target credit‑worthy accounts, market bank products, and tailor financial packages to client needs.
• Perform annual reviews of existing credit facilities to ensure suitability and deepen relationships with prime accounts.
• Increase market share, revenue, and portfolio quality through proactive solicitation of deposits and collateral business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, or Commerce (MBA or MA preferred).
• Two years of banking experience or five years in another industry.
• Working knowledge of international and local trade payments, bank policies, and credit approval processes.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, marketing, and presentation abilities.

• Proficiency in basic MS Office applications.
