Relationship Manager - Business Banking

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Business Banking will generate new commercial loans, grow and maintain an existing loan portfolio, and cross‑sell the bank’s products and services. The role focuses on delivering professional account management while preserving asset quality and meeting profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct credit evaluations, including client calls and on‑site inspections, to recommend appropriate credit facilities.
• Identify and target credit‑worthy accounts, market bank products, and tailor financial packages to client needs.
• Develop existing relationships through annual reviews of credit facilities and by expanding deposits, collateral, and loan usage.
• Monitor portfolio quality, improve loan returns, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Increase market share and revenue while maintaining high portfolio quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Accounting or Commerce; MBA or MA preferred.
• Minimum two years of banking experience or five years in a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of international and local trade payments, bank policies, and credit approval processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, marketing and presentation abilities.
