Recruiter (Talent Acquisition)

About the role

Blue Star Entertainment Inc. is seeking a proactive Recruiter to lead talent acquisition across its multi‑channel network. The role involves building recruitment processes, sourcing candidates, and supporting hiring managers to secure top talent for a variety of positions.

Key responsibilities

• Write clear job descriptions for open positions.
• Design and implement a company‑wide recruitment system.
• Create and manage recruitment networks on social media and other platforms.
• Present shortlists of candidates to management.
• Develop quarterly and annual hiring plans and report on progress.
• Publish job ads on multiple portals.
• Network with potential hires through professional groups, events, and job fairs.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define qualification criteria.
• Conduct in‑person interviews for junior, senior, and executive roles.
• Track hiring metrics such as time‑to‑hire, time‑to‑fill, and source of hire.
• Train hiring managers on interview techniques and assessment methods.
• Maintain candidate databases for current and future openings.
• Handle timekeeping, employee database management, and HR reporting.
• Assist with internal and external HR matters, including disciplinary actions and contract issuance.
• Stay updated on HR trends and best practices.

Required profile

• Experience in full‑cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Strong ability to write job descriptions and develop recruitment processes.
• Proven networking skills on social media and at industry events.
• Capability to interview candidates at all levels and assess fit.
• Familiarity with tracking and reporting hiring metrics.
• Ability to train and advise hiring managers on interview practices.
• Organizational skills for maintaining candidate and employee databases.
