About the role
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests in a busy dining environment. You will ensure every visitor feels welcomed, valued, and respected while supporting smooth restaurant operations.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly smile and escort them to their assigned dining area.
- Present menus, announce the waiter’s name, and respond courteously to guest requests.
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide accurate information.
- Coordinate with dining‑room staff to set and clear tables, ensuring fast and quality service.
- Assist guests with check‑in and check‑out procedures, handling any special needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized front‑of‑house area throughout the shift.
Required profile
- Preferably a college or high‑school diploma.
- Minimum height of 5'3".
- Excellent active listening and communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
Required skills
- Basic computer literacy.
