Raw Materials Handler

About the role

The Raw Materials Handler ensures that all incoming raw materials are received, inspected, stored, and issued to production in the correct quantity and quality. This position supports smooth manufacturing operations by maintaining accurate inventory records and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming raw materials for accuracy and quality compliance.
• Store materials in designated areas following safety and inventory procedures.
• Issue raw materials to production based on approved requests or schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, whether manual or system‑based.
• Ensure proper labeling and handling to prevent damage or contamination.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in audits.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to guarantee material availability.
• Follow company policies on safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Keep storage and work areas organized and clean.
