Quantity Surveyor

About the role

McDonald’s Philippines is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support the cost management of new store projects and renovations across the country. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, developing budgets, and ensuring projects stay within financial targets while maintaining quality and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities based on project drawings, material specifications and labour requirements.
• Develop cost plans, conduct risk and feasibility assessments, and monitor project spending against approved budgets.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and recommend contractors in line with cost and compliance criteria.
• Source, accredit and manage contractors and suppliers to ensure quality, cost‑efficiency and timely delivery.
• Track on‑site progress, generate regular reports and propose improvements to enhance construction efficiency and operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Licensed Civil Engineer; preferably a Certified Quantity Surveyor.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying, either in consultancy or construction.
• Willingness to travel nationwide for store walk‑throughs.
