Quality Manager – Philippines

About the role

The Quality Manager will lead all quality assurance activities for an EMS/semiconductor manufacturing environment based in the Philippines. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer requirements, and internal standards while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead QC activities to meet company procedures, customer specifications, and quality standards.
• Develop, maintain, and update inspection plans, control plans, and quality documentation systems.
• Monitor quality KPIs, analyse trends, and implement corrective actions to reduce defects and improve yield.
• Conduct investigations of customer complaints and internal quality issues using structured problem‑solving tools.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams on audits, corrective actions, and quality‑related matters.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and support both internal and external audits.
• Manage, train, and develop the Quality team to achieve performance targets.
• Support New Product Introduction, process transfers, and engineering change activities to ensure quality readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management within EMS or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑facing experience and ability to work with multinational teams.

Required skills

• ISO 9001 knowledge and implementation.
• Quality Management Systems (QMS) expertise.
• Document Control Center (DCC) management.
• EMS processes: PCBA, box‑build assembly, incoming/in‑process/final inspection.
• Structured problem‑solving tools.
