Quality Engineer II

About the role

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Quality Engineer II to join its manufacturing team in Tanauan City, Batangas. The role focuses on ensuring product and process quality while supporting safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to EHS practices and proactively report hazards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and testing to verify compliance with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action activities for non‑conformities.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply‑chain teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support creation and review of control plans, PFMEA, and inspection criteria.
• Analyze quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage customer complaints and quality notifications, providing timely feedback.
• Participate in supplier audits, qualification activities, and new product introductions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, AS9100, and other applicable standards.
• Train operators, technicians, and staff on quality processes.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or at least 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Minimum one year in the current position and no disciplinary actions in the past year.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple priorities.

Required skills

• MS Office proficiency
• Knowledge of ISO and AS9100 quality standards
• Experience with PFMEA and control plan development
• Root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action methodologies
• Quality data analysis and trend monitoring
