Quality Coordinator

About the role

The Quality Coordinator supports the implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and Competence Management System (CMS). Working closely with the Quality Manager and cross‑functional teams, the role ensures that quality records are accurate, KPIs are monitored, and documentation is controlled.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update quality and competence records in the QMS/CMS.
• Monitor key performance indicators and prepare regular quality performance reports.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, document findings, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Control documentation flow, ensure version control, and manage document distribution.
• Assist in managing training and assessment records, ensuring data accuracy.
• Support the preparation of corrective and preventive action plans.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in quality assurance or coordination, preferably in maritime, training, or related industries.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Maritime Studies, Business, or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Knowledge of quality control, quality management, and quality auditing processes.
• Familiarity with standard operating procedures and quality frameworks.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools and basic data analysis software.
