About the role
Advanced Energy Industries seeks a Quality Control Engineer to monitor and improve product and process quality within its semiconductor and industrial manufacturing operations. The role focuses on data‑driven analysis, corrective actions, and supporting new product introductions to boost yield, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze quality performance data, identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Initiate, track, and close corrective and preventive actions across cross‑functional teams.
- Lead Yield, OATF, and Quality Improvement Program meetings and validate key production documents.
- Issue Stop Build/Stop Ship notifications, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement containment actions.
- Prepare regular reports on yield, OATF, and other quality metrics; ensure compliance with TL9000 and other regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering during NPI phases and support product transfers between sites.
- Analyze burn‑in test yield data and drive reliability improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.

- Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
- Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and 8D methodology
- Data analysis and yield analysis
- Burn‑in test analysis
- TL9000 compliance knowledge
