Quality Assurance Staff – Food Manufacturing

About the role

The Quality Assurance (QA) Staff member will ensure that all food products meet the required quality and safety standards throughout the production process. This role involves monitoring production lines, conducting laboratory analyses, and maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly quality control reports and issue non‑conformance slips for any plant issues.
• Maintain product quality by verifying in‑process rejects, wastage, and supporting GMP implementation.
• Conduct in‑line monitoring of cake, snack and confectionery production, including re‑validation of leftover seasonings, flavors and assessment of in‑process defects.
• Perform laboratory analyses such as moisture content, free fatty acid (FFA) content, total fat content, peroxide value, and conduct sensory tests on raw material deliveries.
• Maintain accurate logbooks for all quality control analyses.

Required profile

• Graduate of BS Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition/Dietetics or an equivalent field.
