Quality Assurance Specialist – Food Safety & Logistics

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will support Jollibee Worldwide Services Logistics by ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are consistently met across distribution operations and the Incoming Inspection laboratory. This role works closely with the QA Manager to monitor and improve quality programs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the QA Manager in overseeing quality assurance and food safety programs for North/South Luzon logistics operations.
• Conduct RQI and MEMO processing for JWSL and managed sites.
• Evaluate and investigate customer (store) feedback specimens.
• Analyze inspection, testing, and audit results (GLP/GWP, process, QMS) and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic status reports for management.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies (FDA, NMIS, BAI, BFAR, LGU) on product movement, sampling, and compliance.
• Support process‑improvement projects and alternative processes related to quality, inspection, logistics, and distribution.
• Assist in warehouse and depot accreditation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management Systems, laboratory work, inbound/outbound logistics, and documentation.
• Familiarity with GWP/GDP, GLP, GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001 standards and statistical analysis.
• Willingness to be assigned to Bicutan, Paranaque.
