Quality Assurance Registered Nurse

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Registered Nurse (QA‑RN) to safeguard high‑quality patient care. Working remotely, you will monitor clinical practices, audit medical records, and support continuous improvement initiatives across our healthcare operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular clinical audits and chart reviews to verify quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate patient records, treatment plans, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify risks, care gaps, and inefficiencies, and propose actionable improvements.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, CMS, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations.
• Monitor and optimize scheduling processes to align with clinical priorities.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and scheduling teams to enhance workflows and patient experience.
• Analyze QA data, track KPIs such as patient outcomes and satisfaction, and prepare detailed reports.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and training to staff on documentation and best practices.
• Support audit readiness and regulatory inspections through accurate reporting.
• Lead or contribute to quality improvement projects aimed at operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid, active nursing license; BSN preferred.
• 3‑5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably with exposure to quality assurance or clinical auditing.
• Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, healthcare regulations, and QA processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate patient records.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Experience using healthcare scheduling software.
