QA Specialist – Quality Assurance for Animal Feed

About the role

The QA Specialist will ensure that raw materials, feeds and packaging meet the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves visual inspections, sampling, process monitoring and thorough documentation to support safe and consistent animal nutrition products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections and physical checks of raw materials, feeds and packaging to verify compliance with specifications.
• Collect representative samples from deliveries and production stages for laboratory testing following established protocols.
• Monitor production processes and equipment, alerting the QA Supervisor to any deviations and assisting with corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, deviations, corrective actions and certificates of analysis for macro, micro and packaging materials.
• Prepare shift reports (QA Analyst shift report, FSAR, bin bottom, in‑process monitoring, RM SAR) at the end of each shift.
• Conduct audits and checks to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points and other regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Attention to detail for identifying non‑conformities and root causes.
• Ability to follow sampling protocols and documentation procedures.
• Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is advantageous.
