QA Specialist

About the role

The QA Specialist will ensure that raw materials, feeds, and finished products meet Pilmico and Gold Coin’s strict quality standards. This position works closely with production, laboratory, and compliance teams to maintain product integrity throughout the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections and physical checks of raw materials and feeds to verify compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Collect representative samples from delivery trucks and production lines for laboratory analysis, following established sampling protocols.
• Monitor production processes and equipment to detect variations, defects, or non‑conformities and alert the QA Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, deviations, corrective actions, and Certificates of Analysis for macro, micro, and packaging materials.
• Conduct audits and checks to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Good communication skills for reporting deviations and coordinating corrective actions.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment and handle shift‑end reporting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Understanding of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles.
