QA Specialist

About the role

The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist ensures that raw materials, feeds, and finished products meet strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Working on the production floor, you will perform inspections, sampling, and documentation to support consistent product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections and physical checks of raw materials, feeds, and packaging to verify compliance with specifications.
• Collect representative samples from deliveries and production lines following established protocols for laboratory analysis.
• Monitor production processes and equipment, alerting supervisors to any deviations and assisting with corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, deviations, corrective actions, and certificates of analysis.
• Prepare shift reports and ensure all documentation aligns with company procedures.
• Verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards through audits and checks.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Strong observational skills for identifying non‑conformities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production and QA teams.
