About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Purchasing Coordinator to manage daily vendor communications, order processing, and material tracking. After an on‑site training period, you will enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule with only two days in the office each month.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and organize incoming purchasing and vendor emails through the company inbox.
- Process order confirmations from vendors and suppliers accurately.
- Update purchase order details, quantities, and costs in QuickBooks.
- Track material status, deliveries, and arrivals using Moraware.
- Monitor delivery schedules, ETA details, and follow up on open purchase orders.
- Identify stock material needs from system‑generated reports and compile sink counts for inventory planning.
- Review and scrub job costing data for accuracy using internal spreadsheets, QuickBooks, and Moraware.
- Communicate order status and material updates with coordinators, vendors, and internal departments.
- Identify and report discrepancies in pricing, quantities, or inventory records.
- Maintain organized purchasing documentation and ensure accurate data entry.
Required profile
- Strong data‑entry and administrative abilities with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with QuickBooks and Moraware is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, email management, and reporting tools.
