Proposal Engineer - Renewable Energy

About the role

Bureau Veritas Philippines is looking for a highly motivated Proposal Engineer to support business growth in the renewable energy sector. The role involves preparing competitive technical and commercial proposals, managing bid submissions, and ensuring compliance with client requirements for solar, wind, battery storage and power projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals for renewable energy projects.
• Review RFPs, RFQs, ITBs and tender documents, analyze client requirements and scope.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations and technical teams to develop compliant technical proposals, methodologies and staffing plans.
• Prepare cost estimates, pricing structures and commercial proposals, supporting pricing analysis and risk assessment.
• Liaise with Business Development, Engineering, Procurement and Finance throughout the bid process and with clients for clarifications.
• Maintain proposal schedules, bid trackers and ensure timely, compliant submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Energy Engineering or related field; licensed engineer preferred.
• 5–10 years experience in proposal engineering, bid management or estimation for solar PV, wind, BESS or power generation projects.
• Proven ability to prepare technical and commercial proposals, conduct cost estimation and support bid strategy.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
