Property Claims Estimator – Night Shift (Hybrid)

About the role

The Property Claims Estimator will evaluate property damage and produce accurate repair cost estimates for a global insurance client. This desk‑based position operates on a night‑shift schedule (8:30 PM‑5:30 AM) with a hybrid work setup, requiring review of photos, videos, reports and other claim documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assess property damage by reviewing visual and documentary evidence.
• Prepare precise repair and replacement cost estimates using Xactimate and related tools.
• Validate contractor estimates, invoices and technical reports against claim scope.
• Produce clear, detailed damage assessment and estimate reports.
• Communicate with adjusters, contractors and policyholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure all estimates comply with client standards, industry regulations and building codes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of construction practices and estimating methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field (licensed CE is a plus).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in construction, estimating, quantity surveying or property damage assessment.
• Hands‑on experience with Xactimate.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in insurance claims, restoration or property damage estimation.
