Project Officer

About the role

World Vision Philippines is seeking a Project Officer to lead field operations and support the Project Manager in delivering maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) activities. The role involves coordinating with local partners, supervising field facilitators, and ensuring compliance with donor and government regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day field operations across multiple offices, fostering teamwork and effective implementation of project activities.
• Support overall project leadership under the Project Manager, ensuring adherence to KOICA, Philippine government, and World Vision policies.
• Coordinate with local government units, health personnel, civil society organizations and other stakeholders to monitor progress and report outcomes.
• Prepare work plans, periodic reports, final project reports and other communication materials in line with KOICA deadlines.
• Supervise field facilitators, manage budgets and resources, and oversee accurate accounting of project expenditures.

Required profile

• Local applicant with experience in field‑based project coordination, preferably in the development or humanitarian sector.
• Strong understanding of donor regulations (KOICA) and Philippine government protocols.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and ensure proper use of resources.
• Proven leadership and team‑management capabilities.
