Project Manager – Large‑Scale Marine Works

About the role

We are looking for a highly capable Project Manager to lead large‑scale land reclamation and civil engineering projects in the Philippines. The role requires on‑site coordination of multidisciplinary teams, documentation management, and close interaction with clients and local stakeholders. Preference will be given to an expatriate candidate willing to relocate to Manila for the project duration.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all project activities, manage documentation and monitor progress against schedule, budget and quality standards.
• Supervise the project team to ensure compliance with employer requirements.
• Report progress to senior management and lead regular strategy meetings.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings to address challenges and align goals.
• Liaise with internal teams such as Construction Supervision, Design, Project Management Support and Contract Advisory.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from design to completion, optimizing resources and cost‑effectiveness.
• Maintain cost and change controls, budget records and contractor schedule compliance.
• Support change‑order estimation and manage change requests.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on contract status, costs and potential variations.
• Assist the Regional Director in identifying business opportunities and client engagement.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Professional Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing large‑scale civil engineering projects, with at least 5 years focused on marine works.
• Proven experience in risk assessment, geotechnical and engineering works, environmental impact assessments, tender preparation, site supervision and contract administration.
• Strong technical competence and excellent interpersonal skills.
