Project Manager – Energy Consulting (Renewables)

About the role

AFRY Philippines is seeking a Project Manager to lead renewable energy consultancy assignments, covering solar, wind and hybrid projects from pre‑development through to commissioning and early operations. The role combines project delivery, client interaction and technical oversight to ensure high‑quality outputs aligned with AFRY standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consultancy assignments across all phases – feasibility, design review, procurement, construction monitoring, commissioning, COD and early O&M.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, communication protocols and risk registers; manage budgets, resource allocation and invoicing.
• Coordinate internal experts (engineering, environmental, grid, business development) to meet project milestones.
• Act as primary contact for developers, lenders, EPCs and OEMs; facilitate technical‑commercial discussions and present findings.
• Review project documentation, design packages, permits and contracts; oversee design review comments and construction progress assessments.
• Ensure deliverables comply with internal governance, technical standards and industry best practices; identify and mitigate project risks.

Required profile

• Qualified and experienced candidates with a background in renewable energy project management.
• Proven experience managing solar, wind or hybrid projects through pre‑development to O&M advisory.
• Strong client‑facing skills, able to serve as main point of contact for developers, lenders and EPCs.
• Ability to develop project plans, budgets and risk registers and to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
