Project Manager – Architectural Metal, Glass & Signage

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager / Project Engineer to lead high‑end architectural fabrication projects involving metal, glass systems, and signage. The role supports large‑scale projects for major General Contractors and Construction Managers across the New York metropolitan area.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, review scopes, and develop project schedules and Gantt charts.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to develop, revise, and approve shop drawings.
• Solicit vendor pricing, assist senior management with estimating, and execute material purchasing.
• Manage sample fabrication, delivery, and compliance with contract documents.
• Issue work orders to production, ensuring proper execution of fabricated products.
• Coordinate installation activities, maintain field reports, and obtain client acceptance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in architectural metals, glass systems, or signage.
• Punctual, organized, and able to multitask across multiple active projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for client coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, details, and specifications.
• Detail‑oriented with a typing speed of at least 50 WPM.
