Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC) Staff

About the role

The Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) Staff member will coordinate production schedules, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods. This position supports the manufacturing team by monitoring capacity, lead times, and stock requirements to meet customer commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule production runs based on orders, inventory, lead times, and capacity.
• Issue job orders (JO) to the production floor and monitor progress to meet commitment dates.
• Develop and execute delivery plans for raw materials and finished products.
• Reconcile weekly output with the manufacturing group and review monthly performance reports.
• Maintain buffer stock levels and evaluate inventory regularly to stay within min‑max limits.
• Prepare weekly and monthly procurement plans, place purchase orders, and ensure proper documentation (PO, DR, SI) alignment.
• Provide operational analytics and sales performance monitoring to the department head.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Required profile

• Graduate of any engineering discipline, preferably industrial engineering.
• Minimum of two years experience in production planning and inventory management.
• Computer literate with proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
